James Luna
James Luna (born 1950) is a ''Payómkawichum'' (Luiseño) and Mexican-American performance artist and multimedia installation artist, living on the La Jolla Indian Reservation in California. ==Background== Luna was born in Orange, California in 1950 and grew up in Orange County. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at the University of California, Irvine and a Master of Science degree in counseling at San Diego State University.〔McFadden and Taubman, 25 and 248〕 He moved to the La Jolla Indian Reservation in 1975 and lives there today.〔Nottage, 26〕
